Welcome to the Hills of Inverrary Community News Blog!
The Hills of Inverrary News – Your “No Spin” source for real community updates. Independent, resident-led, and unaffiliated with the board, we serve up facts on governance, maintenance, and local happenings—with a twist of satire and a cartoon hat or two. No filters. No politics. Just transparency, education, and a little irreverent fun. Disclaimer: All posts use fictional satire for comedic commentary on board behavior.
Allegations have surfaced that our association paid invoices for work that was never done—and that someone who tried to expose it was threatened into silence.
This isn’t gossip. It’s a credible claim from someone with direct knowledge of past board operations.
π° Our maintenance fees deserve better. π ️ Our infrastructure deserves better. π΅️♂️ Our community deserves the truth.
This type of scheme is sadly common in poorly supervised associations:
Insiders create fake companies or collude with vendors to submit invoices for work that’s never done.
In return, they receive kickbacks or personally profit while the community foots the bill.
These scams are often buried in plain sight—hidden behind vague work orders, inflated costs, or nonexistent repairs.
⚠️ A routine audit won’t catch this. Only a forensic audit can:
Cross-check invoices against actual work completed
Verify vendor legitimacy
Uncover patterns of fraud or self-dealing
We’re organizing a petition to call a Special Meeting where residents can vote to launch a full forensic audit of our association’s finances.
Let’s follow the money. Let’s verify the books aren’t COOKED. Let’s make sure this never happens again.
π’ Join the growing list of residents demanding transparency and accountability.

Seriously ? i cant believe this is still happening under our noses in 2025 after knowing of corruption in the past having to change people at the office, having to change people at the board and today hearing, with the new people in place , that this is still going on ... its very disturbing and sad. Something has got to give here... Obviously, putting people in place to care for the best interest of the Hills & for the rest of us is just not possible ...what we are doing now is not working ,from what i hear and see it just doesn t work... We have to change the system ! .. .we cant be the only community in Florida that faces these challenges... It s scary !!
